Description
This Kokopelli figurine is a high-quality piece of authentic Native American, Navajo pottery.
This unique piece of Navajo horsehair pottery uses real horsehair during the firing process to decorate the rustic figure. The artist throws the pieces of horsehair onto the pottery at just the right time to cause it to stick and melt into the piece. This causes a permanent application of the horsehair to the pottery and yields the famous look that collectors enjoy.
Each piece is unique, no two are alike. This hand etched piece is perfect for any southwest style, western decor or cabin. It also makes a great special gift.
Measures approximately 7" wide and 6.75" tall. Actual piece is shown.
Authentic Native American, Tribe: Navajo, Artist: Earnest Livingston
