"Puddles in the Desert"
 
This 11" by 14" original acrylic painting is suitable for framing or looks great hanging as is. I used a pallet knife and brushes to give it a more impressionistic look. The inspiration comes from a photo I took while hiking in north-central New Mexico. The colors of the land and sky were already there--I just exaggerated them a little to give the painting extra visual interest.
