These are hand painted alebrije chihuahuas, the colorful pottery of southern Mexico. With intricate patterns and brilliant colors, this clay pottery is beautiful and adds life to any setting.

These colorful dogs are perfect for southwest and western or country style home decor.  Alebrije animals were made popular by the famous Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead movement in the early 20th century.
