Wooden dough bowls, made by the Tarahumara Indians, are carved by hand. They are made by splitting the trunk of a tree in half lengthwise, rough cut with an axe, then shaped and further worked with a machete or large knife.
This traditional southwest Indian bowl has been adapted to create a beautiful rustic wall decor with a dreamcatcher as well as prayer feathers.
