| Exceptional Southwest Decor for Home, Office & Unique Gifts Small Rustic Tarahumara Indian Wood Bowl 9x16 (20)This is a unique carved wooden bowl that comes from the copper canyon, made by hand by the Tarahumara Indians. Wooden Tarahumara Indian bowls are carved by hand from native yellow pine. This Indian log bowl was made by splitting a tree trunk or branch in half lengthwise then rough cut with an axe. The carved wooden bowl are shaped and further worked with a machete or large knife leaving a rough chiseled look. These traditional southwestern bowls have a round bottom and a very rustic finish. Wooden bowls are used by the Tarahumara Indian people still today much as they have been for generations. The rustic character of primitive unfinished bowls add a sense of rustic beauty. Use this as a decoration or centerpiece for a natural southwestern or western atmosphere, cabins and any ranch or country decor. Measures approximately 8 to 9" wide by 15 to 16" long. Please realize each bowl is unique, varying in size and shape. The bowls are not cleaned or sanded, we pass them along to you just as we receive them.
