Rustic trading post and bunkhouse style southwestern blankets were a rich part of the wild west shows, ranches and southwestern bedding decor of the early 1900's.
Western interior designers also display them over a couch or chair and of course over the end of a bed. Native Americans also made the colorful southwest designs popular in the 1800's and they still continue to be appreciated today.
