"Appaloosa Mountain"
 
This 18" by 24" is an original acrylic painting on canvas. The mountain is a volcanic plug named Cerra De Guadalupe located northwest of Albuquerque, NM. I photographed it on a Jeep trip into the backcountry. I added the horses for interest and scale. 
 
Featuring the southwest, western and Native American cultures, Keith is a full-time Baptist pastor who has pursued outdoor photography as a hobby for most of his adult life. He started painting as a way to share his photographs.
