Hand Painted Western Art -No Parking (110KSart11)

 

These rustic doors caught my attention as I was wandering through the streets and alleys of Las Vegas, New Mexico. I photographed them from several angles so that I would have plenty of reference material to make a painting. Their neglected shabbiness was endearing to me. The "No Parking" sign indicates that at one time they probably saw more use. My cousin saw the painting on Facebook and started guessing what might be behind them--a classic auto? Perhaps a Harley? I said, "Whatever you want!"
