Rawhide Lamp Shade Sold Separately
This Tarahumara Indian pottery vase makes a unique southwestern lamp. Perfect as a desk or table lamp for southwest lighting, it is made by hand from authentic Tarahumara Indian earthen clay pottery. This clay lamp comes from deep within the Sierra Madre and is also a perfect accent for western lighting or decor.
Decorated with real rawhide, the result is a charming, one-of-a-kind rustic lamp. The unique tri-pod base is fashioned from pine branches, wrought iron and rawhide lace perfect for rustic chic lodge style, or country ranch and cabin decor.
Tarahumara pottery is artfully made by the age-old coil method. Rolls of natural clay are painstakingly coiled to form the shape of the vessel and polished with a smooth piece of wood. The firing takes place in an open pit fire.
Actual lamp is shown, measures 22" tall, shade is sold separately.
