This hand etched set of a doe and her fawn is authentic Native American, Navajo pottery. These unique deer figurines are a one of a kind.

Hand etched, the artist also uses real horsehair during the firing process to create this unique look. The artist throws the pieces of horsehair onto the pottery at just the right time to cause it to stick and melt into the clay creating the famous look that collectors enjoy.
