Description

This is a very unique Native American couping stick with a dream catcher. Couping is from a french word meaning to hit or strike. To show bravery a warrior would approach an enemy and tap him with the stick, then run away unhurt. This is an actual Native made stick made in Arizona in the Navajo style.

The couping stick is completely wrapped in leather and has an attached medicine bag, feathers and a 3" dream catcher. Leather fringe and beading are also used as well as a rabbit fur tuft. Also used as a prayer stick, it has prayer feathers attached to the dream catcher.

This Indian prayer, dance, coup stick is great for dance, meditation or medicine. It would also look great as rustic home decoration for southwest Native American decor or western ranch, log home or cabin. Measures 12" in length. Photo is representative.

Authentic Native American, Curtis Bitsui, Tribe: Navajo
