Exceptional southwestern Native American cradleboard, handcrafted with real leather. This American Indian papoose or cradleboard is an authentic Native American handcraft made by a Cherokee Indian artist. This cradleboard features soft hand worked deer skin leather, a matching medicine wheel and a real red coyote fur at the top.

Famous for their rich American history, the Cherokee Indians have been building traditional handcrafts for generations. This type of unique handmade papoose is a Native baby cradle used as a back pack to carry an infant. For Native American history and culture a hand made papoose represents the American Indian way of life.

A papoose is a very interesting decorating accessory in southwestern style and western home decor.  It is the perfect decorating accessory for a ranch, lodge, or rustic cowboy, Indian or bunkhouse look. Use this as a wall hanging for rustic decor in a cabin, log home or southwest room. Measures 24" tall, 7" wide. (Actual cradleboard is shown)
