This jewelry box is a high quality piece of authentic Native American, etched Navajo pottery. This unique piece of Navajo horse hair pottery has the traditional hand etched symbols and uses real horse hair during the firing process to decorate.

The artist throws the pieces of horse hair onto the pottery at just the right time to cause it to stick and melt into the piece. This causes a permanent application of the horse hair to the pot and yields the famous look that everyone loves. Each piece is unique, no two are alike.

This Indian pottery is perfect for any southwest style, western décor or cabin. It would also make a great special gift.
