Exceptional Southwestern cross, handcrafted with real elk leather. This rustic cross is completely wrapped in rich elk hide leather with heavy fringe and intricate hand beading, mounted in front of a laced leather shield. The crowning feature of this cross is a genuine coyote skull painted with traditional Indian artwork.
This American Indian cross is an authentic Native American handcraft made by a Mescalero Apache Indian artist. Famous for their rich history in New Mexico, the Mescalero have been building traditional handcrafts for generations. For Native American history and culture these crosses represent the impact that the Spaniards had on the Tribes of the southwest.
