This is a southwest Indian style hand woven nest of baskets set. These basket were made by the tarahumara Indians using fibers from the yucca plant. This Native technique of basket making is generations old. Handed down from each passing generation the art is preserved. The Hopi pueblo Indians were some of the most famous Indian basket weavers but all tribes have used baskets through out native American history.
Perfect for southwestern decorating as well as western decor, these traditional baskets are made by hand, artfully woven to form unique patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or for your special rustic or Native American room. Measures 6" dia. 7" tall.
