Root Bowls, Baskets, & Trays

Root baskets and basket and trays is created by artisans who use tree roots to create uniquely shaped natural works of art. Each is hand carved which gives it a unique shape, size, and color and makes for a fantastic home, cabin, or lodge style decoration.

These amazing baskets created from Fir tree stumps have natural handles formed by two roots growing together. So, the tree stump is turned upside down and carved out, excess roots are removed. Only a very few have this natural handle, the rest are made into equally beautiful bowls and platters, making unique natural decor and make great gifts.
