Native American Pueblo Ceremonial Drum 14"x20" (c21)
This is a genuine Native American Pueblo Indian ceremonial log drum from a Pueblo drum maker. Perfect for sweat lodge or hand drumming, this genuine rawhide hand drum uses the hollowed tree trunk for the drum core and has heavy rawhide heads and lacing. This drum was made by hand by a drum maker who grew up in the Pueblo and carries on traditional beliefs passed down to him. It is becoming harder all the time to find Native American drums and handcrafts that are created in the traditional ways with natural materials. This Indian log hand drum is a ceremony style drum for use on the annual feast day. The maker cut the leather handles from actually buckskin, the same as the straps used on his sandals during the dance.
This drum has a lot of extra work with tapered ends and smooth sanded sides and is also perfect for drumming circles and meditation. Double sided drums usually have better results in a sweat lodge because the two sided covers keep their tone for drumming longer than a single sided hand drum. Native American handcrafted, Tribe: Tigua, actual drum is shown, measures 14" in diameter and 20" tall, a matching buckskin drum beater is included by the drum maker.
