Large Native American Tigua Painted Indian Rattle -sun

This is a real Native American Indian handcraft. Made by the famous Tarahumara Indians this genuine rawhide Indian shaker has a hand laced rawhide head that has been intricately painted by a Tigua Indian artist to depict aspects of Native Life of importance to Native Americans.

Along with natural stones inside, the rattle's handle is made of a natural tree branch which is fully wrapped with leather. This Native rattle also has two genuine rabbit fur collars, one at the base of the rawhide head and one at the end. This shaker has a soft feel and is well balanced for a comfortable grip.



This is a very nice size rattle for many purposes either personal or ceremonial and is also perfect for dance or decoration. Every Native American rattle is different. This Native rattle has the image of the Hopi sun which is a symbol of life. Each of these shakers is unique and though they are very similar each varies slightly because the are made one at a time using natural materials that very from nature.
