This is a yellow pine pedestal drum made by the Tarahumara Indians, hand crafted using real wood slats and genuine cow hide for heavy covers and lacing. This piece is signed artwork by one of the few remaining Native American Tigua Indian Artists.

Native pedestal drums have become very popular as rustic decor and western furniture. At home in any ranch or country setting, Indian drum tables are fabulous as southwest home furnishings. Also great as cabin, lodge or log home furniture where Native American style and rustic tables are appreciated.

This drum is an authentic Native American Handcraft that was made my the Tarahumara Indians in traditional fashion. Painting the drum was done by Albert Alvidrez one of very few Tigua Indian artists still painting from the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo. The designs used represent aspects of American Indian culture and Native American history. Measures 12" x 18"
