Artist: Bud Eaglewolf, Tribe: Cherokee
Native American musician Bud Eaglewolf is an outstanding Cherokee artist. Bud's creations are made entirely by hand using natural materials. This rattle uses a natural gourd head and wooden cherry branch handle. The beads are genuine copper and glass and the leather wrap and fringe is elk hide.
Bud Eaglewolf is a very friendly and outgoing person with a deep sense of spirituality and dedication to quality. His desire in both music and rattle making is to allow nature to speak through him. The flute music he plays and the sounds of the rattles he makes reflect the sounds of nature, water, wind, birds to name a few.
Great care is given to every detail with hand carved handles for a precise fit in the gourd head and a clear coat over the entire rattle warmed in smudging smoke of white sage.
