Tarahumara Indian powwow drums are crafted by hand with heavy cow hide covers and native red cedar with a lot of character. Natural imperfections in the wood staves and the varied tones of the hides makes each powwow drum unique. SHIPPING NOTE: This drum is oversized and must be shipped by truck, so the UPS calculater will not show the correct shipping cost at the time that you place the order. Freight Cost will be calculated for your approval after we receive the order. These drums usually ship for approximately $100 to $200 depending on your proximity to El Paso, TX.
Here is what to expect:
We have worked out the bugs to make the delivery experience smooth for you. After your order is received, we will email you with the cost of shipping for your approval. Once the shipment is in the system, we will have a tracking number for you.
The trucks have a lift gate and the driver can lower the packages to the ground at the street. It is your responsibility from that point. The driver doesn't carry the shipment to the door or inside, he only delivers, so have some helpers if needed.
Inspect and sign for the shipment to conclude the transaction. In the rare event that there is damage, just make sure to note the damage on the driver's paperwork, before you sign for it and he leaves. This is necessary for insurance claims.
Tip for lower shipping cost. If you know someone with a business that will allow you to deliver to their commercial address, it saves about $30.
